How to Close Running Apps on the LG G6

If you’ve recently switched to the LG G6 smartphone, you’re sure to be enjoying the many features the phone offers. Most people downloads many apps that make everyday life easier and more fun and enjoyable, such as games, fitness trackers, social networks, calendars and lots of interesting apps.

You don’t need to close apps on the LG G6 to save battery life, but you may need to close them when an app freezes or when something is draining your battery too fast.

Close Running Apps

When your phone start to show performance issues, or your app shows any sign of lagging it’s time to close running apps.

Tap on this button to see running apps on the LG G6.

Select the Recent apps key at the bottom right of the LG G6.

Scroll up and down to see other running apps on the LG G6.

Swipe an app to side or use the X icon on the app to close it.

Swipe an app from the right to the left to close it and it’ll disappear.

Close All Apps at Once

If your LG G6 is lagging or freezing, you can close all LG G6 apps in one click.

Tap Close all, to close every app.

To do this, tap the square button in the lower right.

Now tap on clear all to close all the running apps on the LG G6.

Check App Memory Usage

Go to Settings > Memory to see what apps are using your phone memory. You can view by the last 3 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours or day.

Tap on Memory used by apps. This will show you the average memory use. It can help you identify what apps are using too much memory if something is wrong.

You can use the Settings > Smart Cleaner to clean out apps that you don’t need running anymore.
